Fully Operational! May 22, 2022 Reviewer: Allen S. from Milwaukee, WI United States   I discovered an old Sears typewriter (identical to a Smith-Corona model) at a second-hand store for $5.  It needed work, and once I got it humming, all I needed was a ribbon.  The Ribbons Unlimited website was awesome; I used the “My Machine Is” link and easily found the ribbon I needed.   I then saw a page about saving money by sending in your old reels.  I sent them out, and Lanie called me to explain the process with old reels.  I placed my order online, and after Lanie confirmed we were on the same page, they sent my order out after deducting the reel cost.  The entire process was great.  By the way, it’s really cool when the same person picks up the phone.  Excellent customer service! New Ribbon works fine January 24, 2022 Reviewer: Paul from Santa Fe, NM United States   What can I say?  The new ribbon for my Royal KMG was easy to wind on the spool.  It's nice to keep my original metal spools, and it was a nice savings over buying a complete replacement.  The replacement itself was on its own single spool, which was nice.  I was sort of picturing a ziploc with a big bundle of inky ribbon in it.  I highly recommend this company.
