I recently ordered 3 cotton ribbons for my newly acquired 1949 Underwood standard, my Olympia SM3 and an Olivetti I had given to our friends’ two boys, showing them how to change the ribbon.  And I gave them a sticker with the addresses for ordering in the future. Superb service as always from Ribbons Unlimited. Aloha from Hilo, HI.

Inked cotton ribbons are better quality--blacker ink--than ribbons I have been buying for 10yrs! And they're less expensive. Terrific support, too. Laine answered all my pesky questions. My only suggestion: vacuum seal the ribbons. They do dry out, even though wrapped in plastic.
